FST has a growing number of social enterprises providing professional services including MOT, car servicing and repairs, catering and food service and conference facilities. These businesses are based on FST’s model of delivery – SMaRT^® (Socially Minded and Responsible Trading). All our enterprises engage with people traditionally excluded from working life because of mental health conditions, learning disabilities, drug or alcohol and other disadvantages.

FST reinvest all income generated by our social enterprises to create further opportunities and (wherever possible) sustainable employment opportunities for those from disadvantage backgrounds to enable them to take the first steps back into employment.

SMaRT^® garage services based in Woolwich is an award winning social enterprise, that provide MOT testing vehicle repair and servicing. Our garages are staffed by qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technicians. We work within frameworks set out by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) and other quality assurance frameworks. Working with both commercial and private customers and using the latest in automotive equipment

 

Abbevilles is based in Clapham Common and offers a full range of catering menus for both private and corporate events across London. As well as outside catering you can also enjoy freshly prepared Fish & Chips at Abbevilles which offers a traditional Fish & Chip menu that’s freshly prepared on site.  We also hire Abbevilles restaurant for Breakfast meetings, working lunches, business meetings and special events.

Run by SMaRT garage services, SMaRT Women™ is a unique training course, run by women for women, that aims to empower women by enabling them to undertake a range of basic safety checks and routine car maintenance tasks. The course covers how to save money, ensure your car is safe and reduce your car’s impact on the environment.
