About Abbevilles
Established in 1992 and recently refurbished First Step Trust’s social enterprise Abbevilles based in Clapham common, offers a traditional Fish & Chip menu for takeaway or eat in. Abbevilles also provides outside catering for private or corporate events and meetings in and around London some of our clients include SLaM and Oxleas NHS, Lambeth and Greenwich Council.
Abbevilles has a 5 star food hygiene rating and is fully staffed by experienced chefs with level 2 & level 3 food hygiene qualifications.
Whilst providing freshly prepared food Abbevilles also works within the local community providing work placements and training for people with mental health and other disadvantages in Lambeth. Our workforce can do on the job training whilst receiving employment support and gaining qualifications in Food Safety level 1 & 2 and allergen training.
Abbevilles Fish & Chips
Recently refurbished, and conveniently located in Clapham Common, 5 mins from the station, Abbevilles offers a traditional Fish & Chip shop menu for takeaway or eat-in. We can provide Fish & Chips for large groups, community organisations and private functions if you are interested in making a large booking please contact Katie Ryan katie.ryan@firststeptrust.org.uk
The Fish & Chip shop is currently open Wednesday and Thursday 12-6 pm and Friday 3 pm-8 pm. All our food is freshly prepared to order. Customers are welcome to walk in or pre-order by calling 0207 498 2185 for collection.
Event catering
Abbevilles provides freshly prepared food for a wide range of functions from meetings, conferences and other corporate events to private parties. We can cater for orders of between 10-400 people and are available for events between Monday to Friday and by arrangement, weekends. We deliver to your functions and if required we can set out and serve the food on location. We have a refrigerated van to keep your orders fresh. Some of our clients include Lambeth and Greenwich Council, NHS England, SLaM NHS and many more.
Venue hire
With a 5 star food hygiene rating and fully licensed venue, Abbevilles offers a space for people to host breakfast meetings, working lunches and team days out. We have two TV screens that can be attached to laptops or USBs for presentations, great transport links with Clapham Common tube station and various bus routes stopping just outside of Abbevilles. We also offer a space for private functions / parties.
We will work with you on your menu for your event and anything else you may need to make sure your event is successful.
